KEEPing snails-no luck!

what could it be..
i've had a mystery snail and he died. I just got 3 ramshorn snails a couple weeks ago...one past away and the other 2 seem to be vacating their homes soon too.
my tank is a ph of 7 and the temperature stays around 78/79. The tank is about 60 gallons with a mix of fish...4 silver dollars, lemon tetras, neon tetras, danios, a pleco, a cory, a small spotted catfish and a few other species that i forget what they are. Everyone else has been doing great for a long time ...but not the snails.

Did you see the snails die or did you discover the empty shells? Could be that someone in the tank is eating the snails.

no s#&t....as soon as i read your reply i turned around and one of my fish were 'picking' at the snail opening. Don't know what kind of fish they are...i'll look them up. About an inch - inch 1/2 long...bright shiny dark orange with black fins and orange tail. they are super agressive when the food comes out. they freak.
that ticks me off.
