Micro swords

In my opinion yes, Mine took a while to get started, but once it did it spread out nicely and really does fill in the whole tank. I have had to remove and replant it twince in three months in my 10g and 15g tanks. It does better with higher light levels, mine grows almost 4 inches tall in my 10g with 3wpg and 24 hours of light, In my 15g (taller) with 2wpg and 14 hours of light it grows and spreads well but does not get as large. At either height it is a beautiful plant IMO. It likes a lot of nitrogen. I don't use substrate ferts (OERFUG) but have to dose the water column to 15-20 ppm nitrate to get it to grow and spread rapidly.
Even when I hadn't figured out how to get it to grow well, It didn't die on me, It just kind of sat there looking good. so I consider it fairly easy.

Thanks for your advice, I always have been attracted to the carpet style plants. I like easy to keep species instead of ones that may leave you heart broken. Do they go into a dormant period?

Mine did better with substrate fertilizer like my other swords. They need a lot of light. dwarf chain sword is easier if you have less light.
