What should I put in my 10 gallon planted?

Recently my danios died. :( I had them for more than 2 years, so I think it must be the age that killed them. Well, now I only have a few fish, and would like to put in a few more. I've been thinking about a group of 5 or 6 neon tetras (or cardinal). I've been also thinking about angel fish, but I think they might get too large for a 10 gallon, though I really like the way they look. I might get 1 or 2 if I did get them. Which fish should I get?

get a few tiger barbs, they're fun to watch and will establish territories among the different plants

ive had neon tetras before and theyre a lot of fun, but if i had a free ten gallon, id get 6 corys... theyre full of personality and a lot of fun to have. they interact great together and even though they dont school, they all love racing through the tank together... but between tetras and angelfish, id go with tetras!

I second the Tiger Barbs suggestion. Kept in a school of 6, they should be fine and they stay small usually 3 inches. That is what I'am putting in my 10g soon.

What is in the tank currently? I'd be remiss to offer any suggestions wihtout knowing what is living there already. Also, Angel fish will not work in a 10 gallon tank.

What are you on? 5-6 neons are fine. Heck, it's is a small school.
Probably referring to the fact that the OP mentioned she already has fish in the tank, of which none of us know anything about as wwe throw out suggestions.

Sorry for not mentioning what fish is already in my aquarium. I have 2 serpae tetras (I know, they are best in a group, but I had 4 for a few years and 2 died), and 1 cory cat (skunk). I don't want to get more serpaes because I want to try some new fish. Thanks for your suggestions.
