6 neonsI wouldn't. They are sort of big fish and they are also anabantids. They'll want more territory than you can provide two adults in a 29 gallon. Plsu, you already have a large fish in the angel.

Would a couple of small Clown Loaches be okay?

I wouldn't add any clowns as they get pretty large. Unless you plan on getting a much bigger tank in the future. Why not get a few yo-yo loaches or kuhli loaches. They stay on the smaller side and are just as pretty as the clowns.

I'll tell you the same thing I and others have told you two other times: Round out the school of Cory cats. They prefer and do better in groups. They have marvelous personalities and are amazing fish to watch. 1 cory is just sort of depressing. Your tank is just too small and already has enough fish without looking to add larger fish into it. Do your cory, and in the end, yourself, a favor and round out the school.

Small clown loaches will be 12" clown loaches in a matter of time. Cories stay small, and are wonderful additions to your tank. They also prefer to be in schools. Hope the angel doesn't pick off your tetras or cory once it becomes larger.
