O.K. experts here is my question.
How does the height of a tank effect watts/gal rule
Here is a comparison
My friend has a 55 gal its 48inches long he has 2*32 giving him 1.2 Watt/gal
I have a 72 gal Bowfront tank its 48 inches long and I have 3*32 giving me 1.3 watts/gal
(I modeled my tank after his)
We have the same plants; His plants are doing great (Growing)
My plants are stagnant… :(
The only difference we have is my tank is about 8 inches taller. :idea2:
Also another question what is the difference B/t Normal Output (NO) and Compact Fluorescent (PC) lights
