I had black electrical tapes taped around the edges of my tank to cover the water line. It's been there for years, my gf decided that kills the appears of the tank so I lowered the canopy a little bit and removed the tapes. The tank looks much bigger and nicer now. What I thought was a 40G turned out to be a 50G or maybe a deep and taller version of a 55G. Can't believe how much smaller it looks with just 1.5"-2" covered up top and bottom makes the tank look.
ANyways now that it's removed, it left behind the dull glue on the surface... can I use alcohol to remove the stuff? Will it fog up my acrylic?
