My ultimate goal in reef keeping is to successfully keep a mandarin goby, but I really like the fire gobies and yellow headed jawfish.

What is confusing is that most of the fish listed are not reef safe to hard and soft corals.
I have to say the bull dog of fish the redlipped blenny. Cool fish not as pretty as some fish but he acted as the master of the tank. Looking out after all the other fish with his large eyebrows. I had one for four years. Planning on getting another one.

Whenever I get my saltwater tank for the first time, I think that I will start with an Ocean Rider seahorse, because they are unique and fun fish--and they would have to be my favorite sw fish.

So hard to choose... Kind of a butterflyfish specialist, myself. If its a butterfly, I love it. But I'm also a big fan of the fairy wrasses, and the dragonets. And, of course, Angelfish.... The list goes on!
