water changes

I have a juwel60 and often change the water. I remove water from the tank, then add water which I have let come to room temperature!

My goldfish are hard nuts! :rant: and have survived just about everything, but just to be sure, apart from water treatment what else should I add to the new water?

That's about it. You really want to do water changes frequently enough so that's all that needs to be done--meaning, the water in the tank has similar test results to the water coming out of the tap. Treating for chlorine/chloramines is the only thing that's typically needed for most water sources.
