ok well, this is the second time my platinum covicts have laid eggs. this time i think i just missed it, becaus e i left at 420 and isaw the female (2") hade her agg tube out and she was flaring her gills at the male (2 1/2") when i got home i found aproximatley 100 eggs, but i saw the female was eating tehm so i decided i would try to take the parents out this time and see the results, it has been about 20 minutes and now i have a couple of questions, how long will it take for the eggs to hatch, 2) how could i know if the eggs are fertilized, 3 what temperature/ water conditions should i keep to ensure the eggs are ok, 4) will the parents be ok if i put them back in the main tank? , there are many hidings spots but i doubt they will need it because they were the dominant and largest fish in the tank before i took them out
