is it ok to use multiple foods in one feeding, i use there regular food which is omega one cichlid large pellets, but also i use once or twice a day brine shrimp , shrimp pellets that sink for the catfish, tubifex worms freeze dried, and every now an then some goldfish flakes the little jacks go nuts over it for some reason! just a little of each not over feeding, just for about 3-5 min of feeding time, or until they stop eating. thanx

How many times a day are you feeding?
I feed hikari cichlid gold once a day,in the morning, and feeder goldfish once a week.

I don't see any reason why you can't feed a variety,as long as your water quality dosen't diminish.
I was feeding twice a day before, and I ran into water quality problems.

I feed my green severum Hikari Cichlid Gold, Bloodworms, and Spirulina Flakes all at once, twice a day. Just recently I started putting in Ghost Shrimp for him to munch. It's growing like a weed and hasn't had any problems. This weekend I'm gonna get a veggie clip and try blanched spinach and other greenies for it.

Just as long as it's balanced and appropriate, however many foods you put in your fish's diet is your prerogative.
