Geology is great! I am not done yet. I have gotten to the wildflowers. But we were done prancin' through the dasies (okay, so we didn't see many dasies) by 11:30. We still have another 6 hours of light!

It actually wasn't very warm. I wore pants both days. At the warmest it was maybe 72. We were in the mountains quite a bit on the trip.
I love that one too, with the black color of the truck against the black cinder cone, I wasn't sure if anyone would know what I was talking about when I said "truck for scale".
Wow, that looks like an incredible trip you took! I'd love to do something like that. Thanks for sharing with us; I really enjoyed your pictures and explanations. It sounds like you learned a lot.
