so after asking advice, i went out and got an angel that is a little larger than the angel i've kept for about three months -- they do better in pairs, i had read.
when i first introduced the new angel, my old angel immediately chased it around and started nipping at it. so, i took my old angel out, put it in a bucket for a couple hours, rearranged the decorations and let the new angel get used to the tank.. then reintroduced the old angel. the old angel immediately started chasing and nipping again. i have plants, lots of caves, the new angel keeps hiding in the caves only to be chased out by the old angel.
i can't return the new angel until monday -- i work 12 hours days on the weekends, and will not be home during store hours. how do i keep my old angel from killing my new one until monday? or is this normal behavior, deciding who is domimant, or whatever?
