snail eaters

It would largely depend on what other fish you have and how many. But your tank size will limit your options a lot. Beatta's are the first thing that comes to mind, not the worlds most famous snail eater, but not totally inneffective either.

i would say just get a loach any will really a good one is a skunk loach they love snails do and when it gets to big you can trade back in at your LFS or move it to a bigger tank if you have one.

yes they will but not as fast as the others but they will do the job. but with kuhli's you have to remeber they like the dark so if you need it done fast keep the light off or they'll just hide

Tank size does not permit Clown loaches, or many other loaches. some of the really small ones may work, as will a dwarf puffer IF there aren't many other fish in the tank already. None of these options are real good if the tank is already stocked up. Hang a piece of cucumber in the tank overnight, and then remove it in the orning. it will be covered with snails. do this several times and you should be able to get your population down. if you want them gone completely. smash any you see after you take out the cucumber. within a couple of weeks you should be able to eliminate the population.
