I am almost done acclimating my fish and ready to put them in the tank. Should I put some food in for them right away? I was thinking of putting in some bloodworms just to make them feel at home after they are done staking out their new territory. Any thoughts?

if they eat sure give them a little but my experience tells me that it takes most species a little while to get comfortable enough to eat at all. Try putting a bit in at first just see if they are.

I guess I did a good job acclimating them because they are eating like pigs!

Hold on there! I haven't got my Bettas yet. Be patient, grasshopper. :D

To tell you the truth, I really don't know how to post pics. I would love some help on that issue. :)

They are still nibbling on the plants. These guys are happy. The Gouramis are already starting to act mischevious. They like confusing the Tetras by infiltrating the school. It is quite comical. :D

It is Day 2 of the new tank. The fish are doing VERY well. They are still eating, playing, partying. I wish I had as much fun as them. I am VERY pleasantly surprised that they are doing this well. They are acting as if they have lived here for years. This is great. I hope it goes this well when the Bettas arrive.
