Is a 10g Too Small to Keep Cory Cats In?

You can't put much in a 10 gallon. 4 cories would do well with some tetras, small barbs, zebra daios, or a dwarf gourami. I'd go with panda cories or pygmy cories. They stay smaller.

Panda or pygmy cories do great in a 10 gallon, but it really depends on what else will be in there with them. I'd get 3 or 4 cories, they like to be in groups.

I have had a skunk cory for a few years in my 10 gallon and it is doing quite well.

I'd recommend the pygmy though since they stay much smaller.

I just made my 10g a catfish only tank... well, with the exception of three shrimp. Everyone seems to be getting along just fine - 1 albino cory, 2 otos, 6 pygmy cories. The pygmies are really cute - they school very nicely, and roam around at all levels - and love to play in the current from the filter. The albino is starting to play with them a little bit, but he's been a loner for quite some time now - the pygmies are a new addition a week ago. All in all, a fun little tank!

so either about 3 of the smaller regular corys, or 4-5 pigmy corys do fine in a 10 gal?
