can i have adviced on how to care for these plants and i have a small 6.5 gallon tank will 4 be enough and how do my fisah get up to feed and can i cut the roots if i feel they are too long

It is a hard plant to grow. It needs lots of light. 3wpg should be good. So for yor 6.5g you will a 40w light. That should be enough light for your small tank. It should be floating, and not rooted.
