I'm planning lighting for a 180g tank I plan to build soon. I figure the cost of PC lighting to achieve 3+ W/G will be kind of high so I was wondering: would it work to grow high light loving plants in intensly lit areas of the tank and grow more shade tolerant plants in the not so bright areas? How would it look asthetically with the dark and light areas?
