I have a tiger barb that is constantly hiding behind a plant that's in the corner of the tank. It's staid there for almost the whole day. Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with it?

is he eating? I had this happen to a blue ram, he just hung out by this log for like two maybe three days. He wouldnt eat even when I put food right in front of his face. Your fish might be stressed. Have you gotten any new fish recently? Sorry I cant be more help.

in my experience, fish who are hiding are either stressed or ill. I have lost fish after days of hiding. What other kinds of fish are in your tank? Any other symptoms? How is your water quality?

I went to feed my fish and the one that had been hiding all day was dead. No, he didn't eat all day. I don't think he ever moved from that spot. I have a few platys, a few zebra danios and few more tiger barbs. All the fish are active and eating. The tiger barbs aren't bothering any of the other fish except for two the barbs that chase one another around. All of the fish are pretty new, I've only had them for a few days. Maybe it was just stress.
