I finally got a buddy to take some pics of my tank and fish, so I decided to make them available. Check out my custom 150 tank. I still haven't finished the canopy, but I gotta get some time to work on it. Gotta bring home some bacon! it actually holds about 125 gallons in this system.

Cool pics....I especially like the one where you're laying down, looking up at the tank....The fish right in the middle, staring out.....

Very nice, Ive always liked the plywood/glass tank look. Especially when integrated into a stand and hood.

Very nice B! Is that Mahogney finish? I thought it was black but it looks almost dark cherry from some of the shots. Awesome background too! Btw, funny looking rat you have there! ;)

The finish is Minwax "Bombay Mahogony" Stain/sealer. It worked really well. I originally wanted something like a walnut stain, but I applied 2 coats and it wasn't dark enough, so I went with this! The dog is actually my mother's dog, because she (my mother) has been staying with us for a while. Her husband (step dad) died, and she has no place to go! :( The dog most likely isn't a true Chiwawa, and is a mixed breed Chiwawa/Beagle! That's what a vet told her!

How did you attach the glass to the plywood?
Thanks

How did you attach the glass to the plywood?
I have epoxy on entire inside of wood, then used silicone to attach glass to that. You cannot use Acrilic sheets this way. Silicone doesn't form a good bond with it like with glass.
