How to tell sex during mating time?
I know female lays eggs. :D Do they both dig holes in the sand, clean stone ... ?
I want to get a partner to my Picasso, you know.
 
Some people claim you can tell the sexes apart by looking at certain body orifices, but generally it's held that the only sure way is to dissect the fish!
(Which the fish aren't real happy about!)

Any oscar will dig, and excavate......
I think it will be trial and error to find a mate.......
