My girlfriend has had a 2ft tropical tank set up for about 3 months and after 2 months it has become murky. Even after water changes it becomes clear but only for a week or less. We have changed the Carbon and the bag in the filter, but the problem still keeps coming back. Could anyone give any help. Ive never personally used a carbon based filter so i have no idea why the water keeps becoming murky, but im fairly sure it is the filter.
Any Info would be much appreciated.
