My boyfriend has a pair of Powder blue Dwarf Gouramis and we thought that it was two males but now we're not so sure. One of them made this HUGE bubble next and the two of them seemed to be constantly dancing around each other but not being territorial. I can't seem to find anything to help me distinguish between Male and Female because they look the same too me except one has a bent antenna thingie.
Is there anything in particular we should look out for if they are "mating" like tell tale signs besides the bubble nest or anything besides color to distinguish male and female?
Oh and the bubble nest has disappaited with no eggs or fry when he did a water change last night.
