We lost one gsp last night. The rest are on the bottom. They are really pale. The alkalinity is hard. Ph is 8.3.. We had the salinaty .008.
Nitrate is at 60. The nitrate is at 10. Hardness is 425ish. Alk is 190.
They were fine yesterday. Today they are all dieing. Any help would be great.

thanks,

Justin

Hmm.... How many are in there, what big is the tank, and how big are the GSPs

the Nitrite is a 60? That's a lot and that's what is killing your fish. Do massive water changes for the next few days. Up the SG .002 a week until its at around 1.014.

If you raise the specific gravity too fast you can kill your biofilter, if you have one which is functional now. Changes more than 0.002 per week are risky.

What size tank?

How many GSPs?

Was the tank cycled before the fish went in?

How long have they been in the tank?

If you don't do some large scale partials, say repeated 50% partials, the fish will all die. What is the ammonia titer?
