best filter for 1 Pleco

This is a product question BUT it is speficic to the Pleco. I am growing a pleco. I have a 10 gallon tank but i will be getting a 35. not any time soon. I want to know what filter i should be useing on the tank. i ONLY have a pleco in the tank. Thats it. I was thinking of building a wet/dry OR useing a UGF. comments suggestions would be great!

I'll prefer the wet/dry, its much more easier to clean and maintain as compare to the UGF!
