I got 2 java fern which I stuck into one of my decorations... All my other plants died during the transition to 1.006 SG of brackish water...

I bought it since I was told it would live in the Brackish water and is VERY easy to take care of.

From what I have read Java Fern will survive up til about 1.010 SG. So hopefully it will do well in your tank.

Thanks, TKOS. How long does it take for it to grab onto the decor?

In my tanks it has always seemed to hang out for a few weeks before really grabbing hold and starting to show signs of growth. But after a year I can't keep the stuff in check any more and I cut out leaves all the time. That is without any real additons to the water, just weekly changes.
