here is a picture i used auto macro setting, no wonder how hard i tried, it just seemed i couldn't get the right focus on my fry:

after i put it in manual, increase speed and aperture, here are the results, do u think they are better? the pictures will better if i have a more poerful flash light.

Definately more clear ;)

What camera are you using?

PS- those fry are ready to be taken out of the tube! Once they are able to swim and 'right' themselves then they can be removed ;)

wow, diana, u sure stay late. thx for the tips, i will remove those fry now.
ps. my camera is nikon 4500.

What type of fry are these, and why are they are in a tube? I've not heard of this technique.

Mooman, its called an egg-tumbler... and its used for tumbling the eggs of mouthbrooders. If you remove the fry from thier mouths too early (when they are still eggs) then you need to "tumble" them or else the eggs will get moldy and die.
