i looked at my floating elodea plant in my fry net. it had a clear jelly thingy. it has tiny clear circular things in it. im suspicious its eggs cuz the only egg-layers in my tank are 1 male+2 female glowlight tetras. but that one piece was in their net for about 1 week, but i noticed it only 2day. is it possible one of the girls layed the eggs on it, but i did'nt notice it til now? or is it actually a fungus? of some kind.

I'm inclined to suspect it's the egg sac of a snail.

definately snail eggs.. unless you want a few uninvited guests in your tank, then i would remove them
also the snails that laid it are probly still in your tank, hence why they were only noticed recently
