I have 2 different "animals" that I can't identify. Unfortunately, they don't seem to photograph too well, so I'll try and describe. First off, both look like anemone like. They have a single base with many tentacles. Here's the differences:

Animal 1: I have 3 of these that I can see. They seem to dislike light as they shy away when I move the rock over them. They are translucent and each tentacle has a white ball at the tip.

Animal 2: There are 2 or 3 of these also. These guys are only nocturnal. They're striped and the tentacles sort of look like serpent start arms.

Every aiptasia I've seen was either brown or sort of clearish, so I don't know if that is what they are or not. Anyone have any good cnidarian ID skills?

Is there a little white cone in the middle of either? The one with white balls on the tips could be a common hitch hiking cup coral. They are fairly hardy, and will spread slowly given good conditions. They will feed on anything they can catch, but also have zooxanthellae, but can be reclusive.

The 2nd--search on sand anenome.
