i switched to sand in my 20 gallon 2 days ago, the water still seema a LITTLE cloudy but last night i put in a tetra to test it and hes alive and seems to be fine, is it safe for me to put in the fish im going to keep in it yet?

go for it, if your running your filter now the fish wont be harmed(or whatever?!) by it. when i switched to sand in my 29 I left the fish in and they didnt seem stressed or in anyway affected.
