Been having the dual pak skimmer running for the past few days but it's still spitting out bubbles. I have shut the air valve completely and I still get bubbles but nothing is collected on the canister. Is there a way to tweak these things?
You can sometimes help speed up the break in process by washing the skimmer in very warm water, this helps to remove some of the oils and chemicals used in the manufaturing process that prolongs your break in period. HTH, Skip
My Aqua C Remora is still bubbling after about a month and a half of use. I rinsed it with hot water before using it, too. I am starting to wonder if I have it hooked up correctly. I know that the CPR uses a venturi intake, but my Remora is not supposed to, is it? Even so that would end up putting more bubbles in theoretically, right? Should something be tightened or adjusted? Sorry to high-jack your thread dannieboiz, but the question was so close and I didn't want to start another skimmer thread since there are so many already. Thanks!

The 2 power heads are covered with rocks laying over it kinda lazy to take it out but I'll wrap it up tomorrow gotta go work on the new tank I bought today... 60 gallon clear for life tank and 4 power 55 watts panasonic power compact.
