What happened to the search feature???

I was wanting to do some research before I asked a question about Gold Mystery Snails and I noticed the search feature was gone. I then found a link and it said that the search feature was disabled. Why is the search feature gone????

Parts of the AC site have been shut down, like the avatars. This is to speed up the forums and to reduce lag.

AC is having server\bandwith problems...read the announcement in this forum...
