All my fish are between 1" - 2" long. The male elongatus has taken over the bottom of one half side of the tank. One yellow lab has had its tail nipped at and is hiding at the top between the heater and hob filter. All the other fish are kept on one side of the tank. Should I see about taking the male elongatus back and see if I can get a less aggressive one? I don't have an extra tank to put the yellow lab in.

Thanks
Pat

Yeah, you can take him back if he's being really bad, OR you could try adding lots more rockwork and hiding places. Also, it might just be that he's breeding right now, in which case he'll get unusually aggressive. All my fish are pushed to the top of the tank in my 90 gallon when one is breeding. ;)
