what is the safest treatment for flukes?
also how dfo you know if a fish has flukes... particularly big fish...

Flukes are parasitic flatworms: they're tougher and more resistant than many single-celled parasites.

A short-term bath in salted water, where salt is increased every fifteen minutes until the fish shows its first signs of stress is less toxic than the organophosphate insecticide Trichlorfon.

Sterazin is a good remedy made by Waterlife. It will not harm nitrifying bacteria if used according to the instructions.
