ok so i have a 40 gal with 6 black skirt tetras, 8 zebra danios, 2 black mollies and 1 ropefish. all my water peramiters are in check and im in about day 5 of salt treatment for suspected ich. my black skirts are still showing withish marks on thier tail fins. I go to bed and when i wake up they are missing more then half of thier tail fin. like it was all taken off in one chunk. this leads me to believe my ropefish is being aggressive at night but i just dont know!! :sad one of my tetras is looking VERY ragged missing some of tail fin and missing scals. omg i cant figure this out. they are still active and eating and all my other fish appear fine but the black skirts look worse every day. HELP!

(large chuncks of tails gone when i wake up, over the last three nights)

The first tetra i spoted with a large chunck missing from fin has been isolated in my 5 gal. and appears to be getting better with no more losses in fins, however he's only been in there 2 days so i'm not sure weather to judge on that.

PLEASE SOMBODY HALP!

your fish are becoming meals for the rope fish. rope fish are carnivors they will scavange if they have to but they eat small fish so i would get him out of the tank as soon as possible
