I whent to my LFS today and picked up some Nutrafin Cycle(yeah i know it may not work but it was cheap so i thought i would give it a shot) So my question is can i just add it to my tank? My tank has a few fish in it(7 guppies and few tetras) It wont harm them will it? And also it wont cause my tank to cycle all over again, ithas been going for 2 weeks can it? All it is supposed to be is good bacteria, right?

Thanks

It may be garbage but i got it cheap and just want to know the right way to use it, it cant hurt to try!

LOL. My bottle happens to have directions printed on it. No idea whether it works. My fish didn't die, though.

Weekly Maintenance
5 mL (approx. 1 capful) per 37.8L (10 U.S. gal) weekly.

Setting up a New Aquarium
10 mL (approx. 2 capfuls) per 37.8L (10 U.S. gal). Repeat every days for two weeks. Thereafter, switch to weekly maintenance dosage.

Cycle can actually set back your cycle. Since there is a search feature, look around for some threads about it. Because of how it works, it can honestly stall a cycle. Bad mojo.
