I am thinking about ordering online and I am wondering what is the best site. I have been checking out several online stores all with comparable prices. I would like some help!!!!

I have petsmart order for me so they pay shipping ;-) The one locally gets in some really nice stuff if I ask them to special order.
I would ask for a special order at the lfs before you order online. Shipping will greatly increase your final price.
You might also go to www.aquabid.com or look in the swap meet at www.plantgeek.net You should be able to find some good things there.

at one site shipping is $14 and that includes styrofoam box and heat pack.....not too bad

Well it depends how many you buy too. I usually don't buy enough to make it worth the shipping. I like to buy one or two plants at a time and think about the setup over a few weeks.
I always have to find the best prices so I stick the lfs with the bill
Its not really sticking them with the bill so much actually. I'm sure they order other things from there anyway. You might also find someone from a club in your area. I have ordered things with people I met at my local club to save on shipping. The shipping is only a factor for the smaller orders and it depends if your cheap or not too.

I asked them once and they said 'WE DON'T DO SPECIAL ORDERS' :mad2
At least their potted plants are labeled.
I haven't worked up the nerve to order live stuff over the internet, yet.
