i want to geta pike cichlid, the pike at my lfs says "jewel pike", does anyone know how big they get?

There might be different varieties of pike cichlids, but I remember reading that there is one varitety that gets less than a foot. I'm not usre if its the jewel variety or not. The pike cichlids I have seen/read about are much smaller than the north american pike game fish.
