Hi..
What is the ideal level of KH and GH needed before you add CO2.
Plus how to you increase KH and GH n the tank.
My ph is 7.6
KH = 2
GH = 5

I'm not sure what the ideal Kh is but I think 2 is too low. From what I've read a bag (pantyhose) of crushed coral in your filter will give you a higher and more constant Kh. Adding baking soda and what not seems to be a temporary fix and it's a hassle.

To supplement CO2, you need a KH at or above 3 degrees, 4-5 is fine.

Agree with the crushed coral or aragonite suggestion. It is slow but more stable.
