This is already posted in the plant forum, but I haven't gotten any responses so I figured maybe I should try here.

So one of the things that I've done being a newbie and learning is just going out and buying what plants look cool. But now that I'm getting into fish keeping more and more, I believe there's a lot more to it than just throwing plants in your tank. I've gotten several plants from the LFS and some of them are dying (my tank is fishy cycling-almost done- so that's what I figured it was). A couple look grass like and I also got white ribbon plants.... I don't know all the names though. Could some one please help shed some light on this? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!

The last link shows a java fern. I don't think this is exactly what I have, the leave look thinner and longer.
Also, the moneywort one seems to be dying the quickest...

your java should grow ok, but any white or red plant requires high light, at least 3 to 4 whats per gallon.
The grasslike plants should do well with little help, the fish will fertilze them.
I can't answer your questions much, the links you posted are not available.
How much light do you have as per the size of the tank? For example a 15 watt bulb on a ten gallon gives 1.5 watt per gallon which is on the low side, but will grow some plants like java fern, and anacharis, however slowly. Light level should help in your plant choices.

I susect your lighting is low and thats why moneywort is dying. Is it turning yellow? How can you tell its dying?
 
I'm using the lighting that came in the packages I have.
One is an Eclipse System 6, and the other is a Tetra Tropical Fish Tank.

The leaves are almost disintegrating and falling off.
 
Your eclipse six lighting is just adequate for lowlight plants like java fern and anacharis and hygrophilia, I think. In the tetra tank your lighting is lower , but I think hygrophilia polysperma will grow very well in both. I think your moneywort is not very suitable in these tanks. Check out plant geeks.com. It will show your some people's examples of low light plants and lists others that you can try. There are some really nice lowlight tank setups. You just need the right plants. :)
