Decorating ideas for a 44g pentagon?

I bought a used 44g pentagon corner aquarium via the classifieds and just put in sand substrate and filled it with water last night.

I bought two 4” clay pots (don’t know if I’ll use them, but only $0.50) and would like to get a large piece of driftwood to go in it. Beyond that I’m kind of lost.

It is roughly 25” deep and the hood came with only 1 15w 18” bulb and even though it has space for an additional 20” strip I don’t know that 2 15w bulbs would actually make any difference.

I don’t like the look of artificial plants at all so those are out. What are some recommendations for decorating this thing and having it look natural? Are there any plants that will grow? Any rock ideas or anything? Are there any options for adding something like a 24” Freshwater Coralife? I can’t think of any way of upgrading the current hood.

The tank will probably house Cory and Angelfish. Beyond that I’m not real sure.

Thanks in advance for any tips and if you can provide any photos for ideas, even better.

This is a replica of the tank. LINK
