I have a 1 1/2" Danio & 2 quarter size R.bellies,
also 6 quarter size Green terrors..

The RBP's dont bother the Danio. The Danio goes after the RBP's.... :confused:

I know once the RBP's get bigger the story will change.. But ****..I figure they wouldnt get chased by a danio...

The Greens go after the RBP's when they get to close...

I put an air tube in my power head.. Is that to much?

Do RBP's grow fast?
 
Initially RBP's grow 5 inches in 4-5 months....I got mine quarter sized in OCT of '04, now they are 5 inches...then they will lose the growth spurt and take longer to grow.....RBP's are considered the shyest piranhas....they will be bullied to an extend by green terrors, but not for long...If you don't keep RBP's well fed when you have tank mates, then they will eat the GT's and others, maybe not anytime soon, but when they get the confidence, they might. Your RBP's will get bigger so fast, and will dominate the others, size wise....Please let me know if you have any more questions, piranhas are my specialty....


Also, one time I gave them minnows, but gave them too many. The Bigger of the two was full but annoyed by the minnow, and just went and killed it. Didn't eat it till 3 hrs later....

After I took a look at your sig, did you know that caribe's and RBP's can live peacefully together...and the RBP's might develop a spot behind their neck to look like the caribes..
