Convict Babies--What do I do?

I have a large batch of baby convicts along with the parents. How long do I leave the parents with the babies? What do the babies eat? I don't know anything of how to raise them so any information would be greatly appreciated.

mine lived for 3 weeks w/their parents... then the male decided it was lunch time & ate them all... crushed flakes & algae chips was all I used.
