i would like to know if 4 pgymy cories and 2 dwarf puffers is over stock on a 12 gal (dont say anything about compatabiliy)
 
No, that's not overstocked....but I'll refrain from saying anything about compatibility ;)

i think it is a bit over stocked because puffers supposidly need 5gal each. but i think if you have really good filtration and do big water changes you will be fine. btw i would not cycle with these fish,
 
i dont even have them yet ,but yes i will be doing 40% water changes every 8 days and i have a bio-wheel which does a good job of biological filtration(i did use bio spira) i will wait about 3-5 days until i see that biospra worked
