What equipment is needed to keep a reef tank? I have a 37 gallon planted tank that I may turn into a reef tank but I have absolutly no experience with saltwater tanks?

What kind of lighting do you have currently? Substrate? Adding powerheads for current, and removing the power filter will likely be the big step, but possibly upgrading lighting depending on what corals you want to keep.
