I'm new to Cichlids and I have a question. I want to get a pair of Rams, and get a flat rock because I read that they like laying their eggs on flat rocks. I also read that most rocks make your Ph go up, but Rams like low Ph. Is there a type of rock that won't increase my Ph that I can use?

Actually, most rocks DONT make your pH go up. A flat rock you could use is slate, it would be great for the rams and doesnt affect pH.
Stay away from limestone.
A good test is this: drop a bit of vinegar onto a clean, dry rock. If it fizzes, then it will raise your pH. If nothing happens, then your good to go.
