So I did the pH test and this is the color
Now what? The level read above 7.4 so what do I add to stabilize it? Oh and how do I get that icky slime off my walls?
I think I wont EVER get this right!

Sorry Q I am not aware of your other posts along this subject so forgive me if I am being repetative. Is 7.4 good or bad? I am guessing its been jumping around.. if so, by how much? Also how are your kH levels?

I dont know, that is what I am asking....I know its a little on the acidic side but how do I bring it down? What do i need to add? I have no idea what kH levels are anyway so I cant give you that information.

A pH of 7.4 is just fine. It's a little on the alkaline side, in fact. There's very little spread between your reading and neutral, 7.0. Don't add stuff. The fish prefer stability.

sorry again q:P I thought you were having problems with the pH stability. Agreed with wetmanNY.. you pH is fine for pretty much any fish (you might run in to problems trying to breed some wild SA fish :) ).
