What is the best way to mail plants? I mean how do you package them? How long can they handle the time?

Well, I've never personally mailed plants, but I've gotten plants from some people through the mail. You could use a damp paper towel and wrap the plants in moist towels, and then put them into a big ziplock bag. A priority mail pakage wouldn't be a bad idea if you're not sending out too much. They could probably survive a few days, but priority mail only takes 2-3 days to send anyways.

BTW, of the plants I get in the mail through private transactions, only about 1/2 actually are healthy and live in my aquarium since the trip here is pretty rough on them.
