I try to stay away from this stuff, but I must say, this time, I actually got hooked.

I knew Mario Vasquez was going to win, but since he dropped out of the contest, I rooted for Constantine. no one believed me, and now he's one of the top guys.. :)

I really dislike that country chick, That Stevie Wonder wannabe dude with the dreads, I'm real happy Nadia's gone, (the chick with the fro) cause she was so fake.

I'm still trying to figure out what that little blond pretty boy kid is still doing there, ??

I really like that black girl . . The one with the straight hair. . really nice attitude, and a cute girl . . .

I hope Constantine takes it.

(freak, I feel like I'm 12... ;) )

I atch at work, or else I prolly wouldn't bother but yes, Scott is a gr8 singer too. Average guys can do it too!
Nadia (fro) is gone last night,
Bo Bice seems to have lost his nerve,
Carrie? The blonde is cute as is the black girl who sang Whitney Huston, she has guts yep and looks too. :)

I only really like it when it's the auditions. It's not as much fun when the only people left can actually sing.

Lets see if you relate to this Kas. This is like if celine dion and brian adams and barenaked ladies and ummm....avril lavigne and alanis morissette all sang on TV and were judged by two idiots and a jerk. Then the the suckiest one gets the axe and everyone sings to go forward, worst goes home until only two left then winner is announced. Now, the winner gets record contract and works for minimum wage under a contract signed with fox....umm....then you see crappy music on TV and wonder why you watched at all.....that pretty much sums it up, I think.

Nice avatar sublime!!

I do beg to differ with your description..you list some people who are already professionals in the industry..whether you think they are talented is another matter.
In addition to what Sublime already said, in this thing (AI) you have people who are wanna bes. A very few might be ok..or even good, but there are some real stinkers there, let me tell you! And they do all the behind the scene "drama" too, complete with toothless trailer trash relatives that tag along because Ellie Mae is just so talented (not!!) and we want to be there for her, and they have t-shirts with her name on. Then of course they show them crying and outraged when Ellie Mae gets tossed. Or you have someone who thinks he is the next Mick Jaeger, Bono or whoever, and he gets tossed and they have him raging at the camera because he is a 100x better singer than Simon and he'll show him, @#%!, dude!! (OF course, Simon isn't a singer..he's a record producer)

OK..so I've watched a few episodes of this to..I'm ashamed to admit. I'm sure PBS probably had something better on that night I should have been watching, but it's like driving by a wreck..sometimes you have to look!!!

Thx nursie!

I realize that those I listed were allready famous, but I was just trying to get Kas to relate to some canadians

and did anyone know that Randy played Bass for Journey? I thought that was an interesting fact that most people didn't know.

Oh not really..the fact it was changed caught my attention more than anything, so I had to go looking for how old he is, cause I know he's been around for a while. I was impressed to find he's older than I. Maybe that was an older pic, but I think it was an album cover that you would have found out on the shelves.
I think most of the kids that can navigate their way onto the site can find much worse than that on any given web search. You should have seen what I found when looking for dog food one time!!! I did it at work and about broke my fingers getting it off the screen before the web police could smack me!!

Question asked of Ringo Starr:

Are you a mod or a rocker?

Answer:

I'm a mocker

Ringo kid..

http://home.online.no/~aarvoll/images/Beatles/the_be13.jpg

Ringo was borned Richard Starkey and his nickname was Ritchie. He was born 7. July 1940, and is the oldest one in The Beatles.

He grew up in a slum-influenced district. His parents Elsie Gleave and Richard Starkey met eachother when they worked in a bakerystore, and they got married in 1936.

They bought themselves a small house in Madryn Street.
Ringo was Elsies and Richareds only child, and traditionally he got his fathers name.

Ringos parents got divorced when he was only three years old.

Ringo started at school early, but after the first year he got appendicitris which ended in the stomach/belly membrane. Ringo became very ill and spent a whole year at the hospital. ...enough, enough..... .. :D

ok ok, I'm late for this... but I also like American Idol... however, they need to slow it down a bit, for the idol factor (is that the right term?) to set in. They seem to be interested in spinning out new idols, hardly allowing the previous idol to get a fair chance at their singing careers. It doesn't make much sense to me, and despite what producers are predicting, I 'predict' the shows (fairly early) burnout if the pace stays as it is. Anyway, that is my thoughts on it.

Oh yeah, and I like the blonde who does country (even though I hardly listen to that music), and I like the next Miss Whitney. They both rock. The "rock stars" of the show are plain tired out. They are not different from any other wannabe rock star and have no star power, or real like-ability factor at all IMO. Personally, I could see them both as successful singers... but selling out stadiums? Nope.

JMO!

Hey, Joe...great pic!! The acordian was funny! My husband's father and his brother and sister all had accordians. Jim's dad didn't like his..he went the way of the leather wearing biker...complete with skull necklace and tattoos. One of his first jobs was repairing Indian motercycles..
My husband (JIM) says that Ringo was the only one of the Beatles with formal music training.
