Hi everyone. Posting here again after a long absence and hoping someone can help.
I have a Platy with a huge growth on the side of his body. Its just under his dorsal fin. It literally is a large lump on the side of his body and it is growing.
When it first started out, it looked like he just lost some scales and i was thinking maybe he mixed it up with one of his tankmates. That was around 4 or 5 months ago. Now, it is a large growth. It doesnt seem to affect his day to day health in any way: he still eats and swims normally. He just looks pretty deformed.
Can anyone tell me what this is?
