Got a mushroom that wont grow...he is about dime size...got new lights ...Aqua and Power glow lights...all water specs are good, all fish are healthy and eating...so dont know what else to do :confused:

What sort of shroom is it and how much light do you have and, how long have you had the new light. If it's a low light variety you may have to put it in the shade. If it's high light it might be in shock from the sudden change.

Got the new light this weekend..both 30 watts...its a red mushroom..about 8 inches from the light...i was told i had to low of lighting and to move it up closer..so i did..but then got new lights...I'm confused

they don't need too much light. How old is he, because they can take up to 2 weeks to get aclimatised to the new tank. He may also not like its position, is it on a slope???

I've had him for maybe 3 mnths..hes on the bottom curve of a rock...so he is like at a 60 degree downward angle

3 months, wow thats a long time. Its just a mushroom, don't really matter! Get a bunch of them, they look cool in packs. Mabey the slope is too great?

I agree with Wayne, it takes time for corals to settle in. If light is a problem, they will generally stretch to get more.

Also since you didn't have much to start with it might be in a mild state of shock. Try slowly moving it up in your water colum over the next couple of days and it should do better.
